Multi-Lite Floor Lamp by Gubi

The Gubi Multi-Lite floor lamp, designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1972, is a classic of Scandinavian lighting design. The distinctive design of the floor lamp features a two-part rotating shade that allows for different light angles. The removable half of the shade can direct light upwards or downwards, and by rotating it in opposite directions, a pleasant indirect light effect is created. In 2017, Gubi launched the Multi-Lite pendant lamp as a floor lamp, reminiscent of early Art Deco lights. The unique feature of the floor lamp is the ability to individually adjust the two reflectors into a ring, allowing the light to be directed straight up or indirectly downwards.
