What is an AGM battery? AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat, and it is an energy storage battery with a wide range of commercial applications. It can power not only toys and alarm systems but also serves as the heart of any uninterruptible power supply. Green Cell AGM batteries have a very broad application spectrum. They can be used in both cyclic and standby operation.

Cyclic use of a battery involves using it as an independent power source. AGMs of this type are designed for very frequent charging and discharging. They are utilized in wheelchairs, photovoltaic systems, golf carts, toys, and lawn mowers.

In standby operation, a battery can serve as a backup power supply for a connected device. A battery connected to a power grid provides additional energy in the event of a failure of the main power source.
