What is an AGM battery? AGM is an energy storage battery with a wide range of commercial applications. It can power not only toys and alarm systems but is also the heart of any uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Green Cell AGM batteries have a very broad range of applications. They can be used in both cyclic and standby operation.

Cyclic use of a battery involves using it as an independent power source. AGMs of this type are designed for very frequent charging and discharging. They are used in wheelchairs, photovoltaic systems, golf carts, toys, and lawn mowers.

In standby operation, a battery can serve as an emergency power supply for a connected device. A battery connected to a power grid provides additional energy in the event of a failure of the main power source. They are used in this way in alarm systems, UPSs, cash registers, or emergency lighting.

Batteries with AGM technology have been developed to ensure maximum safety during use. Thanks to the self-regulating function (VRLA valves), AGMs offer maintenance-free operation for up to 5+ years. This increases the operational reliability of the device, regardless of the position of the battery.
