The halogen-free Cat. 8.1 patch cable from Good Connections, featuring a slim latch protection, is capable of up to 40 Gigabits and is therefore suitable for demanding network connections.

Benefits of Cat. 8.1 technology: The Cat. 8.1 technology offers a range of improvements over previous copper-based network solutions. Data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s are no longer sufficient in many cases. Faster fiber optic solutions are unsuitable for widespread use due to their high costs. Cat. 8.1 patch cables are also suitable for 25 Gbit/s and 40 Gbit/s Base-T Ethernet networks, eliminating the need to combine multiple 10 Gbit/s Base-T links into a single logical connection. This reduces the number of ports required, saving valuable space in data centers. The maximum bandwidth has also increased to 2000 MHz / 2 GHz.

High-quality cable construction: The conductor of this patch cable is made of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC).
