Cat 8.1 patch cables are designed for 25/40GBASE-T applications, offering a transmission range of up to 30 meters and a bandwidth of up to 2 GHz, which is four times the bandwidth of Cat 6A. The Cat 8 channel link is 100% tested and comes with an attached test report and a serial number. It features an industry-standard Cat 8 connector with 50 µm gold-plated contact surfaces. The shielded RJ45 connector includes a locking pin and a protection for the locking pin. This double-shielded LAN/network cable has pair shielding with PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) and overall shielding with braid. The length specification is located on the slim bend protection sleeve.
