Product details
The Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Super Windforce WB 8G is one of the fastest gaming graphics cards currently available. The TU104 graphics chip of the RTX 2080 Super is based on the Turing architecture, manufactured using a 12nm FinFET process, and is responsible for the performance boost over the 10 series alongside the GDDR6 graphics memory. The ray tracing technology used provides particularly realistic lighting and shadow effects, which is also the reason for the name change to GeForce RTX. In this Super variant, the base clock has been increased compared to its predecessor, as well as the number of shader units (CUDA cores) from 2,944 to 3,072 and the ray tracing cores from 46 to 48. The base clock of the Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Super Windforce WB 8G is 1,650 MHz, and under heavy load, the graphics chip automatically boosts the clock speed up to 1,860 MHz with GPU Boost 4.0. The innovative and particularly fast GDDR6 video memory operates at 7,750 MHz (effectively 15,500 MHz), while the 8 GB VRAM capacity makes gaming at 4K resolution or in virtual reality a true pleasure. The cooler features a pre-installed GPU water cooler with an acrylic glass cover and RGB LED lighting.
