Product details

The Genuino Micro is a microcontroller board based on the Atmega32u4, developed in collaboration with Adafruit. It features 20 digital input/output (I/O) pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro-USB port, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

The Micro is similar to the Leonardo, which also uses the Atmega 32u4. With the USB support integrated into the processor, no separate IC is needed anymore. This allows the Micro to act as a mouse or keyboard, in addition to a virtual COM port.

The board is easily connected to a PC using a micro-USB cable, and you're ready to go. With its 2.54 mm form factor, the Genuino Micro is ideal for breadboards.
