With the new GroupTrack1 feature, you can pair your device via Garmin Connect? and keep track of the other members of the cycling group - and they can keep an eye on you - if you get disconnected. The long-awaited touchscreenYou will love the many great features that are in the small Edge 820. But the high-resolution touchscreen will inspire you. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display so that you can read data at a glance. The capacitive touchscreen can even be operated when wet or with gloves. Advanced Performance AnalysesThe Edge 820 GPS bike computer is compatible with ANT+ sensors such as speed, cadence and heart rate. If you want to get more performance data, the 820 can also be used with ANT+ power meters, such as the Vector?, our unique wattmeter pedal system that measures overall power, left/right balance and cadence. Even record Cycling Dynamics to keep track of your power distribution, e. g. where power is used on the pedal and in the pedal cycle. The device also enables integration with electronic ANT+ switching systems and ANT+ role trainers.Varia compatibility for increased bicycle safetyThe Edge 820 supports Accident Notification3 via an integrated accelerometer and sends your position to an emergency contact in case you run into trouble. To prevent accidents, the Edge 820 is also compatible with the wide range of Varia? bicycle safety products, including a radar and intelligent bicycle lighting. These products ensure excellent situational awareness during the tour.
