The XF 16mm F2.8 R WR has been specifically designed for use with the X-Trans CMOS sensors developed by Fujifilm. The housing is splash and dust resistant, allowing the lens to be used in a variety of challenging shooting situations, such as in bad weather or dusty environments. Additionally, it features a particularly fast, precise, and quiet internal focusing system, powered by a high-performance stepping motor.
