The autofocus speed of the lens is also maintained when the teleconverter is used. Thanks to the "Live View" contrast autofocus of the mirrorless system cameras, photography with a minimum aperture value is still possible even when using the teleconverter. In addition, the autofocus performed by the image sensor enables precise focusing at super focal lengths with shallow depth of field. If the teleconverter is used with a weatherproof camera and lens, such as the Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujinon XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR, the weather protection of the system will not be affected. It is also splash and dustproof and can be used up to a temperature of minus 10 degrees. The teleconverter is precisely made of solid metal and is perfectly matched to the Fujifilm X-System. When using the teleconverter with a compatible Fujinon lens, the two products look like a single lens.
