Effective battery charging for motorhomes, caravans, boats, and autonomous solar systems. The Votronic solar controller from the "MPP" (Maximum Power Point) series with "IU1oU2" charging characteristic is connected as a link between the solar panel(s) and battery(ies). With MPP technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. It transforms the voltage surplus of the solar module into a higher charging current for the battery (achieved through high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency). This increase in charging current results in shorter charging times and the best possible utilization of the solar system's performance. The MPP solar controllers operate fully automatically, are maintenance-free, and offer the following features:
