Ultrafuse® PLA Tough is an extremely versatile biocompatible and bio-based material specifically designed for the needs of professional users. It effortlessly enables validated high printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s without requiring hardware adjustments, and it offers exceptional surface quality as well as impressive impact resistance. Additionally, it features a particularly high success rate for large print jobs, ensuring a straightforward and cost-effective printing process.

Ultrafuse® PLA Tough is 720% tougher than standard PLA and can serve as an alternative to ABS, as it is more sustainable, stronger, and easier to print. Compatible with water-soluble BVOH support material, this biocompatible material, which boasts impressive impact toughness, is the perfect solution for printing complex geometries for demanding large-scale applications. Furthermore, Ultrafuse® PLA Tough parts can be enhanced through annealing in a separate process step, increasing toughness by up to 230% and heat resistance by 257%.
