The favorable properties of polycarbonate (PC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) are combined in this unique DURABIO filament. It is a bio-based technical filament with great value as it combines the best of both polymers. DURABIO is bio-based and outperforms standard PC filaments. Applications that require scratch resistance, hardness, and chemical resistance are perfect candidates for DURABIO.

This exceptional 3D printer filament combines most of the favorable properties of polycarbonate and those of polymethyl methacrylate in one. DURABIO is an innovative renewable 3D printing filament with exceptional properties. It outperforms PC for 3D printing applications that require properties such as scratch resistance, hardness, and chemical resistance. It also offers similar transparency properties to PMMA, but with much higher impact strength and improved heat resistance. DURABIO thus closes the gap between PC and PMMA.
