Properties of Wood from the Plastic Family PLA

Wood is a modified filament type based on PLA that smells and feels like wood. It prints easily. We recommend using a nozzle of 0.60 mm or larger to avoid clogs. Brass nozzles are recommended. Due to a low shrinkage factor, wood-PLA does not warp after cooling. Polylactic acid is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable natural resources and is one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. Store the filament in a not too dry environment, otherwise it will quickly become brittle.
