For the design of the Ktribe F3 LED floor lamp, Philippe Starck drew on a classic form and combined it with modern materials. The base of the floor lamp, as well as the stem holder and the diffuser holder, are made from high-gloss, chrome-plated Zamak die-cast. In contrast, the base cover is made of galvanized steel sheet. The internal diffuser and the holder for the light source are made from opal, injection-molded polycarbonate. The material of the external diffuser varies depending on the version.
