Spectrum Nylon PA6 Neat black 1.75 mm 0.75 kg - Low Warp High-Temperature Polyamide. A key feature of PA6 Neat is its increased mechanical strength compared to other plastics. The material also boasts exceptional thermal properties, chemical resistance, and relatively high resistance to corrosion stimulators. Polyamide PA6 Neat is one of the few materials with low processing shrinkage of about 0.3%. Key features: exceptionally low processing shrinkage of 0.3%, a very wide temperature range for long-term operation, and a very high temperature of up to 160 °C for short-term operation, good tribological properties, including dry friction conditions as in sliding bearings, chemical resistance to lubricants and oils, and unusually good adhesion to 3D printer build platforms compared to other nylon-based filaments on the market. Applications: manufacturing of gears and racks, sliding bearings, scraper gears, and pulleys that operate at elevated temperatures for extended periods up to 120 °C and for short periods up to 160 °C, all types of ring and plate seals with increased chemical and corrosion resistance, end-use parts, functional prototyping, industrial modeling. Packaging: Thread wound on a transparent PC spool. The spool contains information about material type, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. Each spool is packaged in an aluminum vacuum bag with a zipper and silica gel.
