The quality of the eraser and the use of the right eraser are crucial for optimal erasing results. There are basically two different materials from which erasers are made: rubber and plastic. All rubber erasers and a large portion of the plastic erasers produced by Faber-Castell are PVC-free and contain no harmful substances such as phthalates. The balanced plastic blend of the quality erasers ensures smooth and smear-free erasing.
