The Pitt pastel pencils are highly pigmented artists' colour pencils without waxes and oils, which are particularly suitable for detailed work in pastel. Like the Polychromos pastel crayons, they can be easily smudged to create beautiful colour gradients and are an ideal complement to pastel crayons. Fixing can be reduced to a minimum, which is why the high colour brilliance of the pastel pictures is retained.
