The EX-61008 is a serial multiprotocol RS-232/422/485 device server designed for integrating serial RS-232/422/485 devices, such as barcode scanners, weighing systems, and payment terminals, into an IP-based Ethernet network. The serial devices are connected to the network and are available for sharing within the subnet and over the Internet. It supports a wide range of network protocols including TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, VCOM, Remote-Pair-Master-Slave, Modbus Server, Modbus Client, and SNMP. Additionally, serial devices can communicate with each other in Remote-Pair-Master-Slave mode via Peer-to-Peer mode without the need for an intermediary PC or conversion software. With the downloadable Virtual COM (VCOM) software, a perfectly migrated virtual serial interface can be created for each serial device on Windows computers.
Interface RS-232/422/485 with 8 ports. The interface and operating mode can be individually set for each port. Data bits: 5, 6, 7, 8 / Stop Bits: 1, 2. Parity: None, Even, Odd.
Signals:
RS-232: TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, and GND.
RS-422: TXD+, TCD-, RXD+, RXD-, GND.
RS-485 2 Wire: Data+, Data-, GND.
Operating modes:
VCOM, MCP, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Remote Pair Mode, Modbus TCP Server, Modbus TCP Client, MQTT.
Point-to-point connection, requires no software. Virtual-COM Software (Download). Robust metal housing.
