Exsys Serial Device Server 2x RS232/422/485

The EX-61002 is a serial multiprotocol RS-232/422/485 device server designed to integrate serial RS-232/422/485 devices, such as barcode scanners, weighing systems, and payment terminals, into an IP-based Ethernet network. The serial devices are connected to the network and are available for sharing within the subnet and over the Internet. It supports extensive network protocols including TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, VCOM, Remote-Pair-Master-Slave, Modbus Server, Modbus Client, and SNMP. Additionally, serial devices can communicate with each other in Remote-Pair-Master-Slave mode via peer-to-peer mode without the need for an intermediate PC or conversion software. The Virtual COM (VCOM) software, available for download, allows for the creation of a perfectly migrated virtual serial interface for each serial device on Windows computers.

The device features an RS-232/422/485 interface with 2 ports. The interface and operating mode can be individually set for each port. Data bits can be set to 5, 6, 7, or 8, while stop bits can be set to 1 or 2. Parity options include None, Even, or Odd.

• RS-485 2 Wire: Data+, Data-, GND

Operating modes include TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, VCOM, Remote-Pair-Master-Slave, Modbus Server, and Modbus Client.

The device supports point-to-point connections and requires no additional software. It comes with robust metal housing and a DIN-Rail kit.
