The USB-C to Serial EX-2346IS provides a high-performance RS-422/485 UART 16C550 interface with 15 kV ESD overvoltage protection and 4 kV isolation. It is designed to connect serial devices to the USB-C port of a PC, server, or workstation. The easy installation at the USB port means that the computer does not need to be opened, and the converter can be installed while the system is running. The knurled screws can be replaced with the two included nuts if the connecting cable has screws. Additionally, a 9-pin adapter to a 5-pin terminal block is included. The cable offers the perfect solution for connecting barcode scanners, card readers, scales, and more.

The converter saves the COM port settings for the serial devices. This allows them to be automatically reassigned correctly after being plugged in and out, even when switching between different USB ports.
