Product details
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a soluble filament that is commonly used as support material in complex prints. It is excellent because it can be easily removed with d-limonene solution, leaving a clean and high-quality print. HIPS does not need to be scraped, cut, or removed in any way that could damage your prints. The printing properties are similar to ABS, making it particularly suitable for printing demanding geometries in combination with ABS and PETG. Since it is not water-soluble like PVA, HIPS filament can also be used as a "normal" filament.
Features:
- High Impact Polystyrene Filament
- Completely soluble in d-Limonene wash solution
- Leaves no residue
- Printing properties similar to ABS
- Can also be used as a regular printing filament
- High strength and impact resistance
- High temperature resistance
