Our test devices show: For little money there are usable A3 multifunction devices that also scan and copy in large format. If you want to digitise photos and graphics, you should go for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720DTWF, whose scanner reproduces colours accurately. For this you have to accept somewhat higher printing costs and - for searchable PDFs of book scans - the purchase of better text recognition.
