Direct thermal printing is cost-efficient and straightforward. This printer uses the direct thermal method, where a special temperature-sensitive material is printed on. The material changes color with heat. Aside from special thermal paper, no additional consumables are required, making operation easier and generating less waste. However, due to the temperature sensitivity of the medium, the prints are less durable.
