Elite Screens

The QuickStand series features a Fast Fold frame screen designed for professional use. This projector screen is stored in a sturdy transport case and is quickly ready for mobile deployment. We offer our rear projection fabric Wright Veil with a gain of 2.2 as an option for the QuickStand. This ensures that the screen is optimally prepared for any projection environment and any projector. The Fast Fold aluminum frame is constructed to be very stable, allowing for several hundred setup and takedown cycles without issue. Additionally, a black velvet curtain can be purchased as an option, which is particularly useful when high-quality aesthetics are a priority.

Aspect ratio

Describes the format of image width to image height, with 16:9 being the common TV and office standard. Values such as 21:9 or 32:9 stand for extremely wide monitors, which often replace two old screens next to each other.

Gain factor

The light amplification factor, or gain factor, is an important factor when selecting a screen. Factor tells you something about the reflective properties. An ordinary white sheet of paper has a gain factor of about 1.0. It scatters the incident light homogeneously and diffusely in all directions. Thus it appears practically always equally bright, no matter from which angle you look at it.

Picture walls with a gain above 1.0 try to reflect a certain amount of light more specifically towards the audience, which usually sits axially in front of the picture. Developers achieve this through special surfaces and coatings. They take, so to speak, a small step towards the properties of a mirror. A gain of 2.0 describes a screen that - measured on axis - reflects twice as much light as a perfectly diffuse surface with 1.0. This is why we speak of amplification.
