The AEG is solidly made and functional, even if the brewing temperature is not perfect. However, a little practice is needed when pouring the coffee, otherwise the pot drips, and the housing is prone to fingerprints, which makes cleaning difficult.

This model also scores points with its smooth operation. Although no timer can be programmed here, the aroma can be intensified at the touch of a button. The brewing process is lengthy (TØ: 8:59min), but still 'good'. The temperature (tØ: 81.1°C) and keeping warm (tØ after 0:30 h: 80.4 °C), however, are 'very good'.
