The EK-Velocity features high-purity, flat-ground, and nickel-plated copper as its base, which protects against oxidation and ensures perfect heat transfer in direct contact with the CPU. Unlike other versions, the lid is made of transparent acrylic glass. Inside, a slightly elevated spray nozzle and a thicker jet plate optimize water flow. The aesthetics of this version of the EK-Velocity are particularly striking: the transparent acrylic glass lid looks exceptionally elegant and provides a view of the flowing coolant. The cooler is accentuated by stylish lighting consisting of 24 RGB LEDs. These are connected to the motherboard via a 4-pin connector and can be synchronized using the lighting control of most motherboard manufacturers. It natively supports Intel sockets 115x, 2011(-V3), and 2066. A backplate for the 115x socket is included. Thanks to Easy-Mount, installation is very convenient. All screws necessary for mounting on the motherboard are included in the package. Additionally, the well-known Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste is provided. This product is delivered without the necessary connectors, which must be purchased separately. Please note that some coolers are shipped with a protective film on the underside, which must be removed before installation and operation.
