The distribution cable presented here is for three fans with a 4-pin PWM connector (or 3-pin without PWM), which can be connected to a single mainboard connector or fan controller. The cable with its 4-pin
PWM connector can be connected to a 4-pin PWM connector as well as to a classic 3-pin header. When connected to a PWM port on the motherboard, up to three PWM fans are then controlled synchronously and automatically from the motherboard.
Only one of the three connectable fans transmits the tacho signal to the motherboard. The total length of the 3-piece PWM splitter from EK Water Blocks is around 10 cm, the cable harnesses are sleeved black, which is pleasing to the eye and allows unobtrusive cable laying in the housing.
