The EV2740S features all the performance characteristics for a sharp, clear, and flicker-free display. With its 4K UHD resolution, it shows four times as much information as the standard Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080). Users can view more information at once on the 27-inch screen, reducing the need to scroll or switch between overlapping windows. Although 4K monitors typically require more power due to their higher resolution and larger screen size, the EV2740S impresses with a typical power consumption of just 12 watts. This helps companies reduce energy costs and minimize their ecological footprint. Like all EIZO 4K monitors, the EV2740S is equipped with a USB-C port. This transmits the video signal, provides access to the monitor's USB hub with four ports for peripherals, and delivers up to 70 watts of power—all with just one cable between the laptop and the screen. In Picture-by-Picture (PbyP) mode, the monitor displays images from two signal sources side by side.
