The ECTIVE SC20 MPPT solar controller is a fully automatic and digital solution that connects solar panels with one or more batteries. Thanks to the built-in MPPT technology, efficient charging with minimal energy losses is enabled. The controller measures the maximum power output of the connected solar panels multiple times per second and ensures that when there is a voltage surplus, the battery(ies) are charged more efficiently. The ECTIVE SC20 MPPT offers four different charging stages, an LED display, a connection for an external temperature sensor, and is suitable for use in motorhomes, caravans, and boats. It can be used in high outdoor temperatures and allows for a charging conversion efficiency of up to 98% with flooded, gel, AGM, and lithium batteries. The controller can be used in both off-grid solar systems and grid-tied solar panels, maintaining the system voltage of the solar installation even at high temperatures.
