The 1.80 m long HDMI-DVI gold cable from Tripp Lite allows for the connection between digital display devices such as DTV (Digital Television), plasma displays, LCD TVs, and projectors, as well as digital source devices like digital set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, and AV receivers. Videos received from existing DVI-equipped products are displayed on HDMI-DTVs, and videos from HDMI sources are displayed on DVI-equipped TVs. The DVI-HDMI adapter does not support audio, only digital video.

The 1.8 m HDMI to DVI-D single link adapter cable creates a purely bidirectional digital connection between a DVI-capable source and an HDMI-capable display or an HDMI-capable source and a DVI-capable display.

Gold-plated connectors and contacts ensure optimal signal transmission. The high-quality double-shielded HDMI-compatible cable protects against external interference (EMI/RFI). The impedance-matched twisted pair construction reduces crosstalk and interference. The cable supports high-definition (HD) video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz (1080p).
