Keyboards with Cherry MX Red switches have a very light, barely noticeable actuation point and are characterized by a very low actuation force. This makes them an excellent choice for rapid multiple clicks in action games and first-person shooters, as a tactile actuation point is not necessarily required for quick keystrokes.

The casing of the Ducky One 2 Mini Gaming Keyboard is two-toned: while the top is black, the frame and bottom of the keyboard are white. The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, produced using a double-shot molding process, making them significantly more durable than keys made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
