The Dragino LWL02 is a LoRaWAN water leak sensor. It detects water that is present between the measurement contacts and sends the status via the LoRaWAN network. The LWL02 is a small sensor with dimensions of just 69.2 x 29.2 x 15 mm. It is powered by two standard AAA batteries (not included) and is designed for long-term use. This allows for approximately 16,000 to 70,000 uplink packets to be sent, corresponding to a battery life of two to ten years. The LWL02 periodically sends data, both daily and upon detection of any water leak event.
Each LWL02 comes pre-installed with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, allowing the sensor to be activated with a one-time key on TheThingsNetwork.
