DPA d:screet 4063

This series includes the miniature microphones with omnidirectional characteristics 4060, 4061, 4062, 4063, and 4071. Each version is tailored to a specific application in terms of sensitivity, voltage, and positioning. The entire product line of miniature microphones is based on the original d:screet 4060, the very first miniature microphone developed by DPA using the best technology that was previously only found in hearing aids and measurement microphones. All microphones in this series share essential base functions, with each one optimized for special applications. This series was designed for use in the harshest conditions. The microphones feature a 5.4 mm diameter pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm. The Double-Vent Protection System ensures high resistance to moisture and sweat. Additionally, DPA has designed these microphones with reinforced Kevlar strain relief to withstand constant twisting, bending, and pulling stresses under tough conditions. This microphone handles extremely high SPL and can be used, for example, in vehicle engine compartments or directly in exhaust pipes. It is suitable for capturing loud sound sources and for use with transmitters that require only a 3V bias.
