DJI Phantom 3 Battery Warmer

The heater for the Phantom 3 Intelligent Battery is used to preheat the battery in air temperatures from -20℃ to 5℃. It uses the current from the battery to warm the Intelligent Battery to the optimal operating temperature from 5℃ to 35℃. This ensures the safety and performance of the aircraft.

Application:
1. place a fully charged and switched off battery in the warmer.
2. turn the battery on and let it warm up for 5-10 minutes (time varies depending on air temperature). Always keep an eye on the battery.
3. switch the battery off while it is still in the warmer and give it 3 extra minutes to warm up evenly.

Clues:

About 3% to 7% of the battery power is used for warming up.
A three-stage overheating protection mechanism prevents overheating. The warmer is automatically deactivated at temperatures via 35℃, with additional failure limits at 50℃ and 98°C.
Once the desired temperature has been reached, the battery should be switched off to avoid unnecessary draining of the battery. Begin use immediately after removing the battery from the heater.
