The elegant multicopter is packed with cutting-edge technology and offers features such as Position Hold, Failsafe/Auto Go Home, and Intelligent Orientation Control. Such technical capabilities have so far only been used in professional multicopters with prices starting from 1500 CHF. With a single battery charge, a maximum speed of around 10 m/s can achieve a flight time of 10 to 15 minutes.
With the DJI Phantom, thanks to the built-in flight control and autopilot, maneuvering the multicopter through the air is a breeze. The integrated camera mount allows you to capture beautiful and sharp aerial shots from any location. The mount is perfectly suited for a GoPro HD camera (camera not included). The ease of use and flight stability are achieved with the Naza-M + GPS multi-rotor autopilot system.
Special features explained briefly:
Position Hold
Thanks to the Naza-M + GPS, the multicopter hovers stably and without crashing at a specific point at the push of a button. The GPS captures both the altitude and coordinates, ensuring a stable position.
Failsafe/Auto Go Home
Should the connection to the remote control be lost or the batteries in the remote control run out, no problem. The multicopter quickly, safely, and fully automatically returns to its launch point with its Naza-M + GPS system.
Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
For a multicopter, the forward flying direction is the one indicated by the red-marked nose of the drone. To simplify the drone's return, it can be set at the push of a button so that the forward flying direction depends on the pilot's location. This means that backward always means back, and forward means ahead (from the pilot's perspective). Thus, even beginners can easily bring the drone safely back to the launch location.
