With the USB to Serial Converter, you can easily connect four serial peripheral devices with RS-232 interfaces or COM ports to your notebook, single-board computer, or server system.

Since most modern PCs no longer have serial ports, the adapter is ideal for operating devices such as weather stations, sensors, machine controls, modems, or ISDN systems.

The serial adapter features two 9-pin D-SUB connectors and is equipped with an FTDI / FT4232H chipset for custom configuration and full-duplex data transmission of up to 128 Mbit/s.

In addition to remote wake-up, power management is also supported. The converter is compatible with Windows (10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP), Mac OS X, and Linux.

The cable length from the USB connector to the D-SUB connectors is 1.5 m each, with the consideration that a housing for the active device components is installed at approximately half the length.
