Product details

Splice boxes are installed permanently in the network cabinet to bundle the fiber optic cables that converge there, comparable to a patch panel. In the network cabinet, the signal from the fiber optic cable can be connected to switches, media converters, routers, modems, servers, SFP modules, or FTTH/FTTB via patch cables. The fiber pigtails used are color-coded in accordance with DIN IEC 60304 and inserted into the splice cassette(s). The housing material used is 1 mm thick sheet steel, which is painted or powder-coated in the color grey (RAL 7035). The splice box is already prefabricated; an assembled splice cassette and corresponding couplings for the front panel are already installed.
