The DIGITUS® IP55 outdoor wall enclosures are designed for industrial applications. They offer protection against water and dust according to protection class IP55.

• Protected against harmful amounts of dust and water jets (IP 55)
• Steel front door with a lockable swing handle and 3-point locking system
• Front door with grounding and two welded, reinforcing U-shaped beams, as well as a seal
• Freestanding use possible with a separate base

The 483 mm (19") IP55 outdoor wall enclosures are manufactured for industrial applications. They are based on the IP55 protection class compliant with EN 60529, thus providing protection against water and dust ingress. The enclosures offer optimal performance, among other features, through the 3-point locking system with a lockable swing handle and insulated cable entries. Integrated ventilation filter housings ensure fresh air intake (protection against water and dust ingress according to IP54). Applications include outdoor areas exposed to environmental effects (rain, dust, hail, snow, splashing water). The double-walled structure inside provides enhanced protection against temperature fluctuations. Additionally, it facilitates the installation of cable management components. The wall enclosures can be used as a freestanding solution with a base (the rear mounting holes are closed with plugs, which are removed when installing the base from the bottom of the enclosure).
