This SATA cable from Delock meets the latest standard and offers a data transfer rate of up to 6 Gb/s. It is designed to extend a SATA interface and can be used to connect various devices with a 7-pin SATA port. Additionally, the SATA 6 Gb/s interface is backward compatible with previous SATA versions, although only the respective transfer rate can be achieved. The metal clip on the socket and the metal clip receptacle on the plug allow for additional locking when connecting the cable.
