Delock RS-232 switch and distributor 1 x serial DB9 to 2 x USB 2.0 type-B bidirectional

This bidirectional RS-232 switch and splitter from Delock connects a serial device such as a printer, measuring instrument, etc. to two USB ports and offers two modes of operation.

1. Splitter (both LEDs light up green)
The signals from the RS-232 device are simultaneously available at both USB ports of the splitter. This allows, for example, two programs to use data from the RS-232 device at the same time.

2. Switch (one of the LEDs lights up green)
The data connection to the RS-232 device is determined by the switch. This allows one of the two computers to use the serial device for bidirectional data communication.

The button activates USB Port 1 or USB Port 2 or both ports. The respective switching state (switch or splitter) is indicated by the two LEDs.
