This USB 3.0 pin header can be plugged into a free USB 3.0 pin header connector on your motherboard, allowing you to expand your system internally with two USB 3.0-A ports. This enables you to use devices like a USB memory stick or USB Wi-Fi stick internally. Since the USB 3.0-A interface is compatible with its predecessors USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, you can continue to use your existing USB devices. Both USB ports are oriented upwards and stacked on top of each other from the motherboard.
