Product details
Simply plug your Arduino Nano onto this shield, and you will have an Ethernet interface with a W5100 IC as well as a microSD card reader available.
The shield is technically identical to the original Ethernet shield from Arduino, so all examples and sketches can be used without modification. The ChipSelect for Ethernet is pin 10, and for the microSD card, it is pin 4.
All pins of the Nano are routed through stackable headers, allowing for the continued use of a breadboard for development, for example.
Due to the relatively weak voltage regulator installed on the Nano, the shield is designed to be used only with an external power supply (6V - 12V). Two terminal headers are provided for this purpose, preventing any damage to the Nano.
