Datalogic Gryphon I GD4132
1D barcodesProduct details
The Gryphon I Linear Imager delivers advanced reading and decoding performance for a wide range of applications. It is specifically designed for retail and office environments, hospitals, pharmacies, light industry, warehouse logistics, and production facilities.
With a wide scanning angle of 42°, it reads particularly wide codes. With a scanning speed of 325 scans per second, throughput is increased, and the capture of poorly readable or damaged codes is accelerated. Its high resolution of up to 0.08 mm (3 mils) and a reading range of over one meter are additional features that make the Gryphon I extremely powerful. Naturally, the device features Datalogic's patented "Green Spot," a positive read confirmation directly on the code. Its modern housing, reduced weight, and compact dimensions combined with an IP52 protection class make the Gryphon I a reliable solution with excellent user comfort and advanced reading capabilities.
With the optional table or wall mount and the flexibly adjustable gooseneck, the scanner can be used either as a handheld or stationary device, providing a practical additional feature. The imager is offered with two multi-interface options: USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS232, and pen emulation, or particularly suitable for use at the checkout with IBM46XX, USB, and RS232. Both interface combinations offer flexibility in configuration, making adjustments to the host system easy to implement.
The IBM version is also available optionally with an integrated EAS antenna. Integrated into existing Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, the scanner deactivates tags on protected goods directly during the scanning process, thereby reducing losses due to shoplifting in a particularly ergonomic manner.
