The Gryphon 4500 series impresses with its elegant and trendy design, user-friendly ergonomics and features the most advanced megapixel sensor with 2D technology with warm white illumination for outstanding performance. The Gryphon 4500 omnidirectional imager offers fast reading performance for all common 1D and 2D codes. High-density (HD) models are available for reading smaller, compressed codes, as well as a special version with red illumination optics to support digital watermarks. Datalogic's Motionix motion sensor technology enables the scanner to intuitively switch to handheld mode when the device is picked up. When it is placed back in the cradle, it seamlessly returns to stand mode. The adjustable charging cradle offers the flexibility to use the scanner in presentation or stand mode while charging. The cordless models feature Bluetooth technology (model GBT) or narrowband radio communication with Datalogic's STAR Cordless System (model GM).
