Overview:
Universal welded wall-mounted enclosure for small structured cabling elements or for the installation of telecommunications distributors with a wide range of applications. Its dimensional variability, versatility, and high level of protection allow for use in both industrial settings and institutions such as schools, banks, offices, etc. This enclosure is provided with an IP-65 protection rating. A cast seal is attached to the door, ensuring a high sealing standard.

The enclosure consists of a welded, self-supporting structure made of 1.3 mm thick sheet metal (reinforced at the edge around the door by rear bending, resulting in a relative sheet thickness of 2.6 mm), suitable for wall mounting. The body is bent around the door frame to form a drainage groove. Mounting can be done through four openings on the back of the enclosure. The doors are hung on two, possibly three door hinges, depending on the height of the enclosure. The door is secured against opening by a single-point cylinder lock.

The enclosures are standardly supplied with a surface treatment for outdoor use. They are equipped with a thermoreactive powder coating made of pure polyester, which offers increased resistance to sunlight and external weather conditions. The base color is RAL 7035.

Recommendations:

• When installing in an open, unprotected outdoor area, it is recommended to purchase and install a roof for the outdoor 19-inch enclosure to protect the upper edge of the enclosure door from rain and snow.
