Overview:
Universal, welded wall-mounted distribution cabinet for structured cabling elements of smaller scope or for the installation of telecommunications network elements with a wide range of applications. Its dimensional variability, universality, and high protection class allow for use in both industrial settings and facilities such as schools, banks, offices, etc. This cabinet is rated IP-65 for protection. The door features a molded sealing ring that ensures a high standard of tightness.

The cabinet is made of a welded, self-supporting construction from 1.3 mm thick sheet metal (reinforced at the edge around the door by flanging, resulting in a relative sheet thickness of 2.6 mm) and is suitable for wall mounting. The body is bent around the door edges to form a drainage channel. Mounting can be done through four openings on the back of the cabinet. The door is hinged on two or three door hinges, depending on the height of the distribution cabinet. The doors are secured against opening with cylindrical single-point locks.

Standard cabinets come with a surface coating suitable for outdoor use. They are coated with thermosetting powder paint made from pure polyester, which offers increased resistance to sunlight and external weather influences. The base color is RAL 7035.

Recommendation:
When installing in an open, unprotected outdoor area, it is recommended to purchase and install a roof for the outdoor distribution cabinet 19" to protect the upper edge of the cabinet from rain and snow.
