The intelligent battery management system checks the battery through internal resistance measurement, allowing it to detect aging batteries and prompt replacement before failure. The battery compartment design with hot-swappable battery packs enables easy maintenance without downtime. This generator-compatible UPS includes an emergency power off (EPO) input, essential for safety systems, which allows the UPS to be de-energized immediately in case of an emergency.

To extend battery life, the UPS utilizes Smart Battery Management (SBM), which enhances the battery charging process, prolongs battery lifespan, and thereby achieves lower total operating costs.

Through the USB interface or the optionally available network card, the free downloadable management software PowerPanel Business automatically communicates with the computer and safely shuts down the system during a power outage. It also allows users to schedule shutdowns and perform self-diagnostics while monitoring energy consumption values and approximate backup time.
