Ctek Lithium XS

Charger for 12-volt batteries, suitable for lithium iron phosphate batteries. It features convenient status LEDs and an eight-stage fully automatic charging cycle. The application is simple: plug in and charge. With an IP65 insulation class, it is splash-proof and dust-proof and comes with a Schuko plug.

The Lithium XS is a charger specifically designed for charging and balancing the cells of lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4). With a charging current of up to 5 A, the Lithium XS is very flexible and charges LiFePO4 batteries from 5 Ah to 60 Ah. It offers maintenance charging for batteries up to 120 Ah.

The charging process is fully automatic in an eight-stage cycle that maximizes the battery's lifespan and performance while being extremely user-friendly.

The eight-stage charging cycle includes the following steps:
1. Accept: Checks if the battery can accept a charge to prevent charging a defective battery.
2. Bulk: The battery is charged with maximum current until approximately 90% of the capacity is reached.
3. Absorption: Charging with decreasing current up to 95% of the battery capacity.
4. Analysis: Checks if the battery can hold a charge. Batteries that cannot hold their charge may need to be replaced.
5. Completion: Final charging at reduced current up to about 98% of the battery capacity.
6. Maximization: Final charging at maximum voltage up to 100% of the battery capacity.
7. Float: The battery voltage is maintained at its maximum value by charging with constant voltage.
8. Maintenance charge: The battery capacity is kept at 95 to 100%.

The charger monitors the battery voltage and, when necessary, provides a charging pulse to keep the battery fully charged.
