Product details
With this retrofittable Creality Silent Mainboard V2.2.1, you can significantly reduce the noise generated during printing, which is caused by the stepper motor drivers. After upgrading to the Silent Mainboard, the motors are barely audible. The firmware for the Ender 5 Plus is already installed on the mainboard, and a bootloader is present. If you want to use the board on another printer, you can easily flash different firmware via USB using the Arduino IDE. The conversion to the new board takes about 40 minutes. Before the conversion, take a photo of how the connectors are attached. This will make it easier for you when reconnecting the new board.
Firmware Info: Creality has installed new firmware on the mainboards, so you may need to reflash the display firmware and possibly the board firmware as well. You can find the firmware in the download area. The hex file for the mainboard can be easily uploaded using the X-Loader. Select the hex file from the zip in X-Loader and choose "Mega(ATMEGA2560)" for the device. Then, just select the correct COM port and upload the firmware.
